Eye of God

An exceedingly common find in the Old Lands, these mysterious objects have been discovered not only in the ground but, in some rare cases, still attached to ceilings. This unusual position, together with the eye-like shape at their center, can only be explained by a desire to make people feel observed - presumably by the gods - and thus as an instrument of spiritual discipline.
