Tabernacle

One of the most fascinating specimens in this collection, this object has never been opened. We cannot say whether it contains objects or merely rubble and stones, but its formidable locking mechanism - still holding today - clearly shows it was reserved for the most precious of contents. Given the deeply spiritual nature of the society of the Old Lands, this was almost certainly a tabernacle, used by priests to preserve relics and sacred objects.
