Sun Disc

This mounted mirror, which could be oriented and turned, was probably used to reflect and direct the rays of the sun. Scholars continue to debate its actual purpose: some point to a functional use (e.g. burning weeds), while others believe it may have been an elaborate time-tracking device, perhaps used in temples.
