Royal Chest

One of the best-preserved items in the collection, this chest has reached our times in almost pristine condition. The exceptional quality of its make suggests it was used in the royal chambers, where it would have contained jewels or other precious items, kept safe by its sturdy lock. The unreadable inscription is probably a royal seal.
